About us – Mark’s Brothers Big World Coffee was formed by two brothers, Brian and Greg Holmes. Our oldest brother Mark doesn't care much about coffee, but we care a lot about him – so we included him in the title of our company.

What began as a fanatical appreciation for fine coffee and a home roasting hobby in Greg’s garage has grown into a passionate livelihood with a big world impact.
After training for the ministry and serving as a pastor for 10 years, Greg (who was roasting his own coffee) became increasingly discouraged by the inequities in the global coffee exchange. Some of the finest coffee in the world is grown in countries that also have some of the highest rates of poverty. Mark’s Brothers Big World Coffee is not only committed to finding the best coffee in the world, we are also committed to the livelihood and well being of our producing farmers by paying at or above Fair Trade prices for all the coffee we roast and sell. We desire to build relationships with our producing farmers to help ensure fair wages, sustainable growing practices, and social and economic development.
